It’s as wicked as you wish at the 33rd annual Spooktacular, presented by Aquafina. Spooktacular reminds us of the realm of the mystical and the magical, so rekindle your sense of fear, awe, and wonder at Jacksonville's most enchanting Halloween celebration. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in their family-friendly costumes to enjoy the winding pathways of themed decorations. The Great Lawn will feature a maze for little goblins to traverse and chilling ghost stories will be heard in Range of the Jaguar.
Due to COVID-19, this event will be different than past years, we guarantee you'll have a wicked time. For the everyone's safety, our COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced.

Tickets must be purchased online, in advance. Due to limited capacity, tickets are available while supplies last and only valid for date and time specified at checkout. This is a timed ticketing event and each ticket is a 3-hour visit. This event will go on rain or shine. No refunds.
Face coverings are strongly recommended and appreciated. Adult costume masks are prohibited.
The walking path will be one-way throughout the night. Expect tricks, treats, frights, and delights along the way.
The Zoo is a smoke- and tobacco-free environment, including e-cigarettes and vapes.
Dress up! But be family friendly.
Most importantly, have fun! If you need anything, ask someone in an orange Spooktacular shirt. We’ll be happy to assist you.
Tickets are not required for guests 2 and under.
Purchase your tickets online in advance and select the date you’d like to attend. A limited number of tickets are available for each night, to provide the best guest experience possible and minimize crowds. Popular dates such as Saturdays and Halloween Night will sell out quickly, so get your tickets soon!
Spooktacular is a separate ticketed event, not included with daily General Admission or Total Experience tickets.
Parking is free!
Traffic coming from I-295 will be directed to the satellite lots. Traffic coming from I-95 will fill the Zoo lots first, then be directed to the satellite lots. Shuttle service will be provided from the satellite lots.
Access to Dinosauria and the Zoo’s Wildlife Carousel will be included with admission.
The Carousel is for children 12 and under.
We encourage all our guests to dress in costumes.
Costumes must be safe and family friendly.
Costume masks are prohibited for adults.
Spooktacular is an outdoor event that's fun for the whole family.
Guests who maintain proper physical distancing are not required to wear facemasks. Face coverings are strongly recommended and appreciated.

Strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs are available for rent. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Halloween night are typically our busiest nights.
They will sell out quickly, so get your tickets soon!
Spooktacular does use strobes, fog, and sparkling lights to create its magical feel. Please use caution if you are sensitive to these types of effects.
Spooktacular continues rain or shine. As such, if it rains, we recommend you bring ponchos and rain boots!
