Get up-close and personal with some of our animals! Feed reticulated giraffes at Giraffe Overlook, rays at Stingray Bay, and lorikeets at Lorikeet Aviary. Feedings are subject to availability.

All Aboard the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Train!

See the Zoo the easy way aboard our Train. Your all-day ticket takes you around the whole Zoo. It stops near Trout River Plaza and at Main Camp where you may disembark and explore at your own pace. Train runs daily, weather permitting.

Wildlife Carousel

Round and Round They Go!

The Wildlife Carousel is intended for Children (12 and under) and Parents (accompanying small children). Adults not accompanying a small child are not allowed to ride the carousel.

Featuring gorgeous renditions of all your favorite wild animals, the Carousel is a classic. Come ride a tiger, okapi, or eagle and make it part of your family’s Zoo tradition.

Get ready for an adventure of mammoth proportions -- Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs -- The 4D Experience! Our favorite sub-zero heroes, Manny, Ellie and Diego venture into a mysterious underground lost world of the dinosaurs after Sid the Sloth decides to raise the baby dinosaurs as his own. Keeper Chats and Feedings

Each day, we offer special demonstrations to watch around the Zoo. Activities may be a keeper chat or feeding with an animal to stimulate natural behaivor through physical and mental activities. Schedule is subject to change without notice.
