Now Showing:  Mowgli's 4D Jungle Adventure

 

Adventure awaits in our 4D Theater! Check out Mowgli’s 4D Jungle Adventure for a chance to explore the jungle with fearless Mowgli and his animal friends! Never one to back down from a challenge, Mowgli sets out with the goofy sloth bear Baloo and powerful black panther Bagheera to rescue tiger cubs from evil poachers.

 

 

 

Train

All Aboard the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Train!

See the Zoo the easy way aboard our Train. Your all-day ticket takes you around the whole Zoo. It stops near Trout River Plaza and at Main Camp where you may disembark and explore at your own pace. Train runs daily, weather permitting.

Wildlife Carousel

Round and round they go!

The Wildlife Carousel is intended for Children (12 and under) and Parents (accompanying small children). Adults not accompanying a small child are not allowed to ride the carousel.

Featuring gorgeous renditions of all your favorite wild animals, the Carousel is a classic. Come ride a tiger, okapi, or eagle and make it part of your family’s Zoo tradition.

Rather than create an authentic garden specific to any one country or culture, we have created a garden that we hope will resonate with a diverse range of people and their experience of Asian cultures. See Gardens
Gardens at Trout River Plaza

This garden space features a partially-walled botanical garden plaza that serves as a gathering and event space and offers a beautiful view of the Trout River. See Gardens
Gardens at Range of the Jaguar

Set in a village at the edge of a neotropical rainforest, the Gardens of Range of the Jaguar feature unique exotic tropical plants from around the world. See Gardens
Savanna Blooms

This unique 2 acre garden, fashioned after a South African oasis, transitions from soft grasslands and fine textured acacia leaves into a bold contemporary garden at its core. See Gardens
River Valley Aviary

Home to exotic birds representing many different species, the River Valley Aviary is a two-story enclosure covering 9,000 square feet. It allows birds such as the yellow-billed stork, white-bellied bustard, and turacos to fly about freely. See Animal Exhibits
Wild Florida

Wild Florida is 2.5 acres of natural wetlands consisting of native animals and plants and is home to alligators, black bears, red wolves, whooping cranes, bald eagles, bobcats, white-tailed deer and an owl species. See Animal Exhibits
Manatee Critical Care Center

Our Manatee Critical Care Center provides limited and periodic views of manatees. However, due to the center only providing temporary housing, there may be times when no manatees are present in the pools. See Animal Exhibits
African Forest

With African Forest, we have combined the best in exhibit design, research, animal wellness, and interpretation; pushing our boundaries and charting a new zoo path. See Animal Exhibits
Tuxedo Coast

Land of the Tiger

A sanctuary for amphibians, this Center allows you to see threatened amphibians, hear the sounds of those that are already extinct, and learn what you can do to help. See Animal Exhibits

Emerald Forest Aviary

Lost Temple

The Watering Hole is the perfect place to grab a local brew, as you enjoy a beautiful view of the Trout River. Open every weekend, 11am - 4pm, and during most special events.

Between the Trout River Grill and the St. John’s River, you’ll find the Kid’s Shop! This souvenir stop is full of fun for all ages.

At Main Camp you will find our Main Camp Café, Mombasa Gift Shop, Guest Relations, Membership Office, Restrooms, ATM, Security, Lost and Found, and First Aid.

In alignment with our conservation values, we have made the decision to reduce our carbon footprint by moving to a digital format for our Zoo Maps.
