Night Hikes

Night Hikes are NOW Available

New COVID-19 Guidelines - Masks and physical distancing will be required on all night hikes.  

Go “Behind-the-Scenes” at the Zoo for a 1.5 hour stroll after the zoo has closed for the day. This is an up-close and personal walking tour of some of your favorite animal exhibits at the zoo after hours. You will visit their night dens; learn about their care and feeding, animal habits and more. Time is allowed for questions and answers with all tours.

Private Groups: $35 each minimum of 6 guests with a max of 15

Time: 6:30pm-8pm

Children must be at least 5 years of age to participate

3 week advanced registration and $50 non refundable deposit required to reserve your date. Final payment is due 2 weeks before you event.

Turn your night hike into a mini scout workshop or birthday party for an additional fee, just let your zoo associate know when booking your event.

Tours

African Plains Tour
Go on a safari behind the scenes in our African Plains area. During this exclusive tour you will learn all about how we care for some of Africa’s biggest animals including elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, cheetahs, okapi and more.
Range of the Jaguar

Features animals of the South and Central America. Take this tour and see where jaguars, tapirs, howler monkeys, tropical birds, giant otters and fish live and play. 

Land of the Tiger (Unavailable until further notice)

Features animals of Asia. Take this tour and see where Tigers, Babirusa, Small Clawed Otters, Warty Pigs, Komodo Dragons, and Hornbills live and play.

Radical Reptiles and Amphibians

This tour will take you through the exciting world of reptiles and amphibians of Florida, Africa, and South America. This tour may see other birds and mammals from the area listed while traveling from one area of the zoo to the next.
