Homeschool Zoocademy at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is designed for students ages 5-15 and covers a wide range of topics in biology, zoology, environmental science, conservation, and more. Alongside one of our zoo Educators, your student will explore the zoo and the natural world around them! Students will "learn the wild way" through both classroom education and real-world experiences. Classes are divided by age group and offer lessons best suited to their grade level.
This year we will be offering in-person options only.

Session 1: September and October (Registration Closed)
Session 2: November and December (Registration Open)
Session 3: January and February (Registration Coming Soon)
Session 4: March and April (Registration Coming Soon)
Classes for students ages 5-12 will explore a different topic once a month throughout the school year. There will be several day and time options offered for each topic. Each class will include lessons, animal encounters, activities and/or projects, and walks through the Zoo.
Registration will be offered in two month sessions only- there will not be individual month sign up options.
To be signed and returned prior to program date. (Forms will also be e-mailed via DocuSign to registered participants)
*Allergy action plan only necessary for severe allergies that may require EpiPen or specific medical attention.

We are unable to accommodate date changes. Before registering, please be sure that you have selected your correct day and time. There will be no refunds for incorrect registrations.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations or for any portion of in-person programs missed for any reason including but not limited to: absence, illness, failure to follow our safety protocols or disruptive behavior.
