The Jacksonville Zoo and Garden's Travel Program offers exciting opportunities to explore exotic destinations, observe wild creatures in their natural realms, and experience local cultures. Guided by local wildlife experts and experienced zoo staff, our travelers are immersed in wilderness landscapes and given a unique opportunity to see some of the zoo's conservation efforts first hand.
Our Green Team is working towards making sure we are operating the zoo in the most environmentally sustainable way possible, making the zoo an educational resource for sustainable practices, and setting an example for the community.
You are invited to join the zoo’s exclusive annual giving club, the Heart of the Zoo Society. We rely on a strong network of committed and passionate individuals who connect deeply with the Zoo’s mission of conservation and education. Your support helps sustain quality care for our animals, upkeep of the largest public gardens in Northeast Florida, education programs which benefit over 100,000 students each year, and support 45 conservation programs world-wide. Membership levels for Heart of the Zoo Society start at $500. For more information call 757-4463, ext. 196 or contact Development.
