Bowling for Rhinos (BFR) is an annual American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) wildlife conservation event that supports all five threatened or endangered rhino species along with all the other species in their habitats and surrounding villages. This event is hosted by many AAZK chapters around the country and 100% of money raised goes to rhino conservation and awareness.
This year we would like to dedicate our event and t-shirts to Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens' very own male Southern White Rhino Archie who turned 50 years old in December. He is one of the top three males in the world and has made enormous contributions to the rhino population and spreading awareness about the plight of rhinos over the years.
