The black-faced ibis has a total length of approximately 30 inches. The head, neck and lower chest are light brown/yellow, the crown and nape are cinnamon, the upperparts and chest-band are grey and the belly and flight feathers are black. The bill, throat-wattle and skin around the eyes are black, and the legs are red.
