SAFARI SLEEPOVERS (Now Booking for 2021 season)

7 P.M. - 8:30 A.M. (AVAILABLE EVERY DAY EXCEPT HOLIDAYS)

 

New COVID-19 Guidelines - Safari sleepovers have a 10 guest minimum / 20 guest maximum and are for ages 5 and up. Please Note: We require at least 1 adult per 6 children. If you have a larger group, please call us to discuss options.

Masks Will Be Required at all times except when eating or sleeping. Social distancing will also be required at all times during the event.

All sleepovers include:

  • Pizza, dinner and drinks
  • Animal encounters
  • Behind the Scenes tour (1.5-2 hours)
  • Snack after the tour
  • Craft and/or Movie
  • Light breakfast the following morning
 

Sleeping Locations:

Tiger Building or Tent Camping on the great lawn
20 guests maximum in the Tiger Building 40 guest max on the great lawn

Guests will sleep in a climate controlled indoor space when you choose the tiger building or enjoy sleeping under the stars when you tent camp on our great lawn (guests must provide their own tents). Guests will have access to restrooms, but not showers.

Platinum: $75/person

*Includes sleepover, Stingray Bay feeding, special program patch and Zoo Admission the following day.

Gold: $65/person

*Includes sleepover, Stingray Bay feeding, special program patch.

Silver: $60/person

*Includes sleepover only.

Education Auditorium or education estates portables

20 guests maximum in the Education Auditorium or 40 guest maximum at the Education Estates.

Guests will sleep in a climate controlled indoor space, and will be able to bring sleeping bags and air mattresses. Guests will have access to restrooms, but not showers.

Platinum: $65/person

*Includes sleepover, Stingray Bay feeding, special program patch and Zoo Admission the following day.

Gold: $55/person

*Includes sleepover, Stingray Bay feeding, special program patch.

Silver: $50/person

*Includes sleepover only.

 

Programs Offered

*All animals have access to their nighttime holding areas after hours, so some animals may not be visible during your tour.

African Plains

Take an afterhours tour through dense forests and wide-open savannas to discover some of the animals of this vast mysterious continent.

Nocturnal Adventures

Experience life as an animal of the night! Find out who comes out when the sun goes down as you stalk and slither your way through the Zoo to see nocturnal animals in action.

Endangered Species

This is a one of a kind tour bringing you up close and personal with tigers, pigs, and birds throughout the Land of the Tiger. You will also learn about many of our other endangered species throughout the Zoo while touring Australia and Range of the Jaguar.

 

Please fill out our registration form and mail it to 370 Zoo Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with your top three dates and your $150 non-refundabledeposit to secure your date today. Bookings are to be done 30 days in advance accompanied by a $150 non-refundable deposit at time of booking.

Payment should be paid in full no later than 2 weeks before your scheduled date. You can reschedule your event up to 2 weeks before the event with no additional cost. Anything within 2 weeks of your event is non-refundable and non-transferable.
