Paper Retriever
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has begun a program called Paper Retriever with a company called AbitibiBowater that provides our community and guests an opportunity to recycle their paper and support the zoo. Zoo visitors are encouraged to bring in paper from home and the zoo will get paid for it. There are two yellow and green dumpsters that have been placed at the back of the parking lot close to the picnic grove. Paper can be bundled with twine or put in loose, but not dropped of in plastic bags.
Support the zoo and support the environment by bringing in your paper from home, and spread the word. The more paper we get, the more money we make!
