The third annual ZOObilee Family Fun Festival was held on Saturday, September 13, 2008. More than 550 guests enjoyed animal encounters, games with prizes, the Splash Ground at Play Park, giant infl atables, Radio Disney, The Roar Cheerleaders, and entertainment provided by a stilt alker, Jazoo and other animal characters. Delicious food and desserts, provided by our generous area restaurants and vendors, made for a wonderful evening. A special thanks to the Cub Club and Youth Committee, who helped make the giveaways and staffed the games. A big thank you goes out to the ZOObilee Committee Chair, Vandy Wilkins and the Committee Members for a wonderful job well done!

ExZOOberation 2008

Thank you Everyone!

ExZooberation 2008, "A Night in TUSKany," was a fabulous event! This year's gala was sold out two weeks prior to the event, with 706 guests in attendance. Our net proceeds exceeded $300,000! We heard repeated comments similar to Kendra McCrary's remark, "I could not have imagined a more spectacular evening!"

We extend a sincere thank you to all of our committed sponsors, our wonderful ExZOOberation Committee, our dedicated chairs and honorary chairs, all the guests who attended and those individuals who took home auction items.

Plans for next year's gala are set for April 18th, 2009. So, mark your calendar now, and don't miss the excitement of another great event set in the natural beauty and splendor of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens!
