Horticulture Technician
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is currently seeking a Horticulture Technician for our growing gardens. Some previous experience in landscape maintenance is preferred and a strong interest in plants or landscaping is required. Duties include planting, weeding, pruning, and general maintenance of the gardens and grounds.
Physical Requirements: include, but are not limited to, the ability to dig, sweep, rake, crouch, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, work in adverse weather, operate a motorized cart and traverse zoo grounds on foot. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
