4th of July Jamboree
Event Information:
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day weekend at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens with live Americana and Dixieland music from the St. Johns River City Band (12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday) and the Stevie Fingers ensemble (12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday) in the Range of the Jaguar. There will also be prize drawings and activities that are sure to cool off the kids, including as a water slide, dunk tank, and a duck pond game in the Great Lawn. Uncle Sam will also be greeting guests at the entrance from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day. And be sure to get your picture with Jazoo, the Zoo’s friendly lion mascot, who will be dressed in his patriotic gear ready to celebrate.
