Thank you for your interest in our Home School Programming!  Zoocademy is a unique experience for Home School students ages 5-18, covering a range of topics in Biology, Zoology, Environmental Science and Conservation.  In this series of classes, students ages 5-12 meet for three hours, once a month, for programs that feature Animal Ambassadors, crafts, games, Zoo visits, and more! Students ages 13 and up will now attend Home School Zoocademy through an online course with The Ogburn School.

We will be offering classes Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday mornings and afternoons, and Thursday mornings. Morning classes will run 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and afternoon classes will run 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. These classes will be held at the PepsiCo Foundation Education Campus. You will only need to register for one day and time, as all classes will be the same.

Students ages 13 and up will be attending The Zoological Research Methods virtual course through The Ogburn School. This class will run from September 8, 2014 through March 5, 2014. The Zoological Research Methods course consist of self-directed coursework online, paired with animal observations in the Zoo setting. Your Zoo membership is required for entry into the Zoo at all times. If you are not a Zoo member, a temporary student pass can be requested which will allow only the registered student to enter the Zoo to make observations. If the student requires additional chaperones, their admission must be purchased separately.
