Monday February 20 (Presidents Day) 10am - 12pm

Located in the Samburu Room (outside the front admission gate).
This event is FREE and open to the public.

Is your child passionate about wildlife and interested in a career at the Zoo?  Be sure to join us for an upcoming Career Awareness Day.

This is a special opportunity for elementary, middle, and high school students to learn about Zoo careers.  Everyone knows the Zoo employs zookeepers and veterinarians, but we also have accountants, maintenance workers, retail and food service, horticulturalists, administrative positions and much more.

Students will have the chance to meet Zoo staff from different areas of the Zoo who will recommend college programs, discuss how volunteering, interning, and related work experience can give you an edge over other students and explain what they do in their day-to-day job duties.
The more you know about what positions exist at the Zoo, the easier it will be for you to plan your course of study and land that dream job!

To help us gauge our attendance, please RSVP for the Career Awareness Day you plan to attend.  Thank you!
