The 2018 - 2019 Educator Open House was held on October 9thZoo staff were on hand to provide details about self-guided field trips, education programs, and STEAM based professional development workshops. Other local science/cultural organizations were on hand to share their programming information as well.

Whether you are a classroom teacher, home schooling parent, museum or park service educator, the Zoo’s Education Department curriculum workshops are geared to help you engage your students in environmental education.

Educator Discount on Zoo Membership
Educators can receive a 10% discount off a Zoo membership with valid School ID. Proof of eligibility must be presented at the time of purchase at the Zoo Membership Office located at the Zoo's main entrance. This discount is not available online.
