Fall is a great time to garden in North Florida.  The weather is cooling and plants are reviving after the intense summer heat.  Join us for a stroll down the River of Color to discover the diverse beauty in fall color.

Part 3: November 1 - Natives, not just roadside wildflowers!

Natives are not just roadside wildflowers.  They are trees, shrubs, vines, and perennials that thrive in our hot Florida weather and the feast or famine rains we receive. Come see and learn about the wide variety of native plants we have in our gardens.  Learn which natives will work for you and about the benefits of utilizing them in your home garden.

Part 4: December 6 - Cold Weather Containers

Join us for a Container Garden Tour and pull out those pots you just stored for the winter.  Learn what different and exciting perennials prefer the winter months.   See a demonstration on designing and planting a container.

Thank you for considering our Garden Tours. Here are a few friendly reminders that will make your tour more pleasant:

1. This is a walking tour out in the Gardens.  Please dress appropriately and wear comfortable walking shoes.
2. Remember your water! You can bring your own or we have several cafés in the Zoo that sell bottled water.
3. We will continue with the tour if there is a light rain.
4. Updates will be posted on our Web site if there is a change to the tour schedule due to severe weather.
