Full to part shade can be acclimated to more sun.
Soil Requirements:
Likes moist well drained soil though moderately drought tolerant.
Notes:
- Extremely cold hardy, trunk-less shrubby palm.
- Fast grower to 6’ with suckers that create a large clump.
- Low maintenance evergreen for shady spots.
- Trunkless palm that has long thin dark brown needles at its base.
