Lesotho, South Africa

Light Requirements:

Part sun to light shade

Soil Requirements:

Regular water in well drained soil

Notes:

  • Named for the perfect spiral arrangement of its leaves
  • Spiral can be clockwise or counter clockwise and formed by 5 rows of leaves
  • Can be difficult to grow in cultivation with its specific growing requirements
  • The only alpine member of the genus Aloe, can get 1’h x 2’w
  • Frost tolerant
  • Blooms salmon color flowers in Spring/Summer
