Notes:
- Ball shaped cactus with bright yellow spines
- Can reach 4’h x 3’w
- Blooms yellow flowers in the spring
- Older specimens take on an oblong shape with age, that tend to lean to the south or southwest so the spines can better protect the plant from the harsh desert sun
- Cold tolerance increases with improved drainage, keep dry in winter
