- Like the other Phoenix palms, Canaries are dioecious, having both male and female palms.
- The huge trunk can support a crown of up to 50 leaves, each reaching 18’ long.
- Frost tolerant, surviving 28F without cold damage.
- Young plants need regular watering for healthy fast growth, becoming more drought tolerant with age
