Full sun is best, won’t bloom as well in shade
Soil Requirements:
Low water, well drained soil, xeric
Notes:
- Great for rock gardens
- Evergreen perennial will go down to 20 with little burn
- Does not like having mulch piled around its base
- Flowers close at night and reopen in the morning
- Blooms almost all year with orange/yellow or solid yellow flowers
- Easy to divide or propagate by seed
- Gel from leaf can be used like Aloe vera
