Adopt An Animal
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens offers a unique program designed to help offer the best for its animal residents. When you become an Honorary Zookeeper in the Adopt An Animal program, you become part of the Zoo community! In return for your generous support, you’ll receive a CarePak stuffed with a personalized Honorary Zookeeper certificate, a color photo, facts about your animal and more. While the animal you choose to sponsor will remain at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, you will take home the satisfaction of contributing to the Zoo community.

* We will attempt to match the animal you adopt with the plush animal you receive. However, this is not always possible. If your animal isn’t available, we will substitute as needed.
New this year: you can choose to allow your full donation to go to the care and feeding of the animals. If you choose, you can opt out of receiving the thank-you gifts and receive only a letter of appreciation. At this time, to allow your full donation to go to the animals, you will need to call the Adopt an Animal Coordinator at (904) 757-4463, ext. 145.

This donation is tax-deductible and is valid for a period of one year. Shipping is standard, USPS mail. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is not responsible for any delays in mail once shipped. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. No ownership rights are conferred with a donation to the program.
