Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Hosts Water Safety Fair

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is hosting its annual water safety fair at the Zoo’s Splash Ground Saturday, May 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., brought to you by Safe Kids Northeast Florida and led by Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Both kids and parents will enjoy interactive water safety exhibits, games, prizes, a DJ, and a visit from JaZoo. Guests can also cool off in the Zoo’s 4,000 square foot Splash Ground. There will also be a presentation and prize drawing hosted by special guest Mayor Alvin Brown at 12:30 p.m. This event is free with general admission into the Zoo.
