October 01, 2013 - Jacksonville, Fl -
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is pleased to announce the date for Khan the Jaguar cub’s highly anticipated public exhibit debut as Saturday, October 5. Baby Khan will be out every day in the Range of the Jaguar’s Temple exhibit, though there may be times he is not clearly visible as he explores every nook and cranny of his great, big new habitat.
“With as much excitement as Shad Khan brought to Jacksonville, we are honored to share in fans’ excitement with Khan the Jaguar cub,” said Tony Vecchio, executive director of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. “He’ll be making his first appearance on the heels of our record-setting attendance year and just before we begin celebrating our 100th birthday. It certainly is an exciting time for the Jacksonville community and the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens.”
