The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens announces its 2011 summer promotion, 92 at the Zoo. From July 5 through August 31, 2011, when the temperature is predicted to be higher than 92 degrees, guests can get half-off admission with a coupon from jacksonvillezoo.org. If two of the three local weather authorities predict the weather to be a high of 92 degrees or higher, a coupon will be posted on the Zoo’s website.  This determination will be made at 4 p.m. on the day prior for Tuesday through Saturday coupons and on the Friday prior for Sunday through Monday coupons during the promotion. Coupon is required and discount cannot be combined with any other offer. Each coupon is good for up to four individuals. One coupon is permitted per transaction.

For more than 96 years, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has been dedicated to inspiring discovery and appreciation of wildlife through innovative experience in a caring environment.  Since its beginning in 1914, with an animal collection that consisted of only one red deer fawn, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has become one of the top zoos in the nation.  It now features more than 1,800 rare and exotic animals and over 1,000 unique plant species.
